Club Wyndham Airlie Beach, Trademark Collection by Wyndham

WOW...where do I begin? We stayed at the magnificent Club Wyndham 2 weeks ago where they hosted my daughters wedding. We had 35 guests and staff and Management were absolutely sensational, incredible service and hospitality. It really is a long time since we have experienced such high standards. Accommodation spacious and comfortable, views over the bay stunning and food perfect. Highly recommended.

We stayed in a one bedroom deluxe apartment. The accommodation was a good size with all kitchen equipment provided. My only comment would be the lack of basic cooking ingredients e.g. oil. It would be nice if this could be provided however we just asked the kitchen and they gave us a small pot. The hotel has an infinity pool which was great, however the pool area is very small given the size of the hotel, with about 8 loungers. We did see people struggling to get a sun lounger. Breakfast was provided in our rate, cooked breakfast is made to order with juices and cereal available. I wouldn't say the breakfast was that generous as the portions are fixed with paid added extras, it would be nice to have a continental buffet open with bread and fruit etc as well. I was disappointed that the only coffee provided with the breakfast was to make your own instant coffee, I was charged extra for a double espresso not knowing this wasn't included in the breakfast. It would be nice for fresh coffee to be provided within the breakfast. It is worth noting the hotel is located on a very steep hill, so walking up the hill may be a challenge for some. However a courtesy bus is provided a few times a day about every couple of hours. It would be great if these could be a bit more frequent to make it more convenient to pop into Airlie for a quick shop. Would definitely stay at the hotel again.

The whole experience at Club Wyndham was even better than we had imagined. We stayed here in November and chose to host our wedding reception at the resort conference and pool pavilions. The setup for the reception was stunning with the magnificent views in the background. The food throughout the whole stay was incredible. The breakfast was a must each day and we opted to stay at the resort for dinner multiple times due to the quality of food and service we received. The venue and setting were perfect but by far the standout aspect was the people involved throughout our stay. The Club Wyndham team were friendly and inviting and made us feel truly special throughout the whole trip. Nothing was ever too much to ask for and the staff seemed genuinely happy to be there. Club Wyndham nailed such a big booking and all the feedback we have received from our guests have been similarly glowing. Our room and view were exceptional, newly renovated with high end finishes. Couldn't have imagined a better location!

Hotel was nice. It's good that it's a 15-20 min walk from everything. Only thing is it's up a big hill so walking back up will get you tired. The room we got was very nice with 2 rooms and a big balcony viewing the bay. At first hot water didn't work but they fixed that the next morning. Phone didn't work the whole time so that was a little issue. Other than that good hotel. A nice pool and a nice gym and also a restaurant. Food was okay

Great hotel, the room was spacious and clean with everything you needed including a full kitchen to cook and a laundry with washing machine and dryer. The balcony was great with good views, a table/chairs, sun bed, light and fan. The included breakfast was yummy. Staff were friendly and helpful. The facilities were good, the pool and bar area were nice and the gym had everything you needed. It was quick and easy to check in/out. I got room service once which tasted great and arrived quickly. I didn't like the shower screen/glass. There was no door so water went everywhere. The driveway and footpaths are really steep (but they do offer buggy's to transport you to your building). The location is a bit out of the way and it wasn't really an enjoyable talk to/from the main town area due to the hills and the heat. You can book a transfer with the hotel that runs 3x a day (but not in the evening if you want to go out). We had hired a car so drove everywhere (but couldn't if we wanted to go into town and have a few drinks). The taxi's were also horrible (just read the Google Reviews for 13 Cabs Airlie Beach to see how bad they are) and there are no Ubers available. We wanted to go out clubbing one night and waited over an hour for a taxi which never showed so had to walk back.

My husband and I spent part of our honeymoon in Airlie Beach and stayed at Club Wyndham for 4 nights. The staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was incredible. Everyone was so friendly and fielded random tourist questions with a smile. Our room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the restaurant FAR exceeded our expectations. My husband loved every meal he tried-- and a huge THANK YOU for having vegan options that were incredible!
